Britt Scripps Manor is such a unique venue. This old Victorian mansion is nestled in Bankers Hills, just blocks from Balboa Park, making it the prefect venue for those quintessential San Diego wedding photos. On top of its location, the manor itself is pretty spectacular and you're able to rent it for you and your wedding party to stay in the whole weekend!
When I first did my walk through here for Kaylyn and Taylor's wedding I was blown away by what a cool space it was. They have a beautiful outdoor area for intimate weddings, with a grand tree to be the center of your ceremony. I was so excited to flower that tree!
Kaylyn was a very special Bride so I knew I wanted to go all out for her. I came up with a grand and luxurious ceremony installation, keeping the flowers on the lighter side for Spring, with just pops of burgundy in her bouquet to match Taylor's velvet tux jacket.
It turned out to be the most stunning backdrop for their vows. I cannot wait to go back and flower at Britt Scripps Manor again this Fall!
Tip: Decide what parts of your wedding are most important to you and focus your floral budget there. Kaylyn and Taylor wanted a luxurious ceremony so we went a little more simple for the their reception to stay within their budget.
Cutest Couple Alert!
"Kelly did an outstanding job on the flowers for my wedding. She was so professional to work with and completely captured my vision. She took so much time to find out what I wanted and communicated with me every step of the way! She made my day so much less stressful because of how easily I could trust her to do a great job! I will be using Kelly for any and all of my floral needs moving forward."
