Sunset Cliffs Sea Cave Elopement Flowers

With so many Couples having to postpone their weddings due to Covid-19, the word Elopement is being throw around a lot. Elopements use to mean, running away to a Vegas chapel or down to the Courthouse, neither of which seem terribly romantic. But in today's world, I'm here to tell you, Elopements can be anything but dull. So if you're thinking of Eloping this year on your original wedding date, and postponing your big celebration I've got some inspiration for you!

This Sea Cave Elopement at Sunset Cliffs in Point Loma, San Diego was truly epic!

There are very few times when the tide is low enough that you can safely make it in to the open air sea cave at the cliffs, but if you check the tides and time it just right you can scale down and experience it yourself.

Our couple, wedding dress and bouquet in hand, found their way down the cliffs and the results are breathtaking. Mandy Ford Photography captured all these amazing photos racing against the tide's return and the fading light. I made a large statement bridal bouquet filled with roses, orchids, hellebores, tulips, and carnations in a light and romantic blush color palette and tied it with gorgeous flowing silk ribbon to pop of the dark cliffs in the background.
