MEET KELLY
I'm Kelly le creative behind Le Champagne Projects.

I grew up studying art, drawing and sculpting. I became completely entranced by Earthworks art, as it incorporates two of my favorite things, art and nature. I loved how the artist integrate their work within their surrounds; adding to and honoring Mother Nature's existing beauty to create site specific pieces.
​
And the idea of art not living on for centuries and centuries, like paintings do, there is something so magical and romantic about its fleeting nature. That it is there to be enjoyed and celebrated in the moment, and begs the artist and audience to be more present.
​
This is one of the things I love most about working with florals, I'm creating moments for my clients. While flowers by nature are fleeting, they can truly transform a space and create lasting memories for some of life's most precious moments.
​
And while I honestly never dreamt I'd be a Florist, probably because I'm allergic to flowers, in a weird way it makes complete sense. I can't imagine doing anything else or a life without flowers.

WHAT I'M PASSIONATE ABOUT...
SUSTAINABILITY
Here at Le Champagne Projects it is my goal to bring our couples romantic wedding flowers + designs while incorporating eco friendly solutions.
I've always been inspired by nature, and the very fact I get to use it to create art still overwhelms me. I care deeply about our planet and creating a business that gives back to nature.

I'm constantly striving to find ways to reduce my carbon footprint, whether it's in my personal life or in my business. I'm proud to say that all our arrangements are built foam free, that we compost all our green waste, and buy locally grown product whenever possible. We even started our own cutting garden!
And as part of our commitment to sustainability, I'm very excited to announce we have partnered with One Tree Planted to plant one tree for every arrangement sold this year.
I am honored to support reforestation to areas affected by wildfires here in California and give back to nature since it's providing me so much beauty to work with.
OUR SERVICES...
I take pride in providing high quality, lush florals, using the freshest and best product we can source locally and in building our arrangements foam free. We are committed to sustainability without compromising style.
In order to do this we maintain a minimum of $6,500 + tax for our services.

Every floral element and detail of the design will be thoughtfully planned. Blooms will be carefully sourced and processed the week of your event, and then artfully designed and implemented on your wedding day by myself and my team.

FAVORITE FLOWER?
My all time favorite blooms are daffodils, but to work with would have to be hellebores or cosmos.
FAVORITE PLACE TO TRAVEL?
I lived in Italy for 3 years, and Rome will always be my favorite!
FAVORITE SEASON?
For flowers + weddings I'd say Spring, but in general I'm a huge fan of Fall.
FAVORITE MOMENT AT WEDDINGS?
I love a good reveal, when we let the couple see the flowers + setup before their guests.
FAVORITE ARRANGEMENTS TO MAKE?
Centerpieces and big floral installations are by far my favorite!
ITEM ON YOUR BUCKET LIST?
I would love to start flowering Destination Weddings. If anyone is looking to get married abroad and needs a florist the following destinations are discounted: Italy, France, Greece, Portugal, Malta, or Spain!
