Sustainability means a lot to my business. I know that the floral industry can be tough on the environment, with flower sourcing, packaging, and transportation all playing a role. That's why we've teamed up with One Tree Planted for the second year to plant a tree for every arrangement we sell. That means every bouquet, every centerpiece, every bud vase, every ceremony arrangement, etc!
It's our way of showing our commitment to the planet and doing something tangible to make it greener. We want our customers to enjoy our beautiful floral arrangements, while knowing that we're giving back to nature and working to keep our carbon footprint low.
And we're happy to say that this year we beat our 2022 donation of 550 trees and planted 636 trees on behalf of our couples; bringing our two year total to 1,186 trees!
Here's just a brief look at some of the gorgeous arrangements we made for our 2023 season...
Why trees? Trees are one of the best ways we can help with climate change and off set our carbon foot prints. Trees clean our air and water, create habitat for biodiversity, contribute to our health and well-being, and create jobs for social impact. We are honored to include supporting reforestation through One Tree Planted as an integral part of our business model.
So we want to give a big THANK YOU to all our couples for choosing to work with us and allowing us to give back! We can't wait to see what the 2024 wedding season brings and how many trees we'll get to plant.
